I was listening to John Mayer, “Waiting on The World to Change.”
If you haven’t, here it is - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPOBMzMTP4U
I think this song perfectly fits the last eight years before this election year. But, I don’t think we need to wait any longer. Let’s enable one of our generation (well, not quite, but sort of) to rule this population. We don’t have to wait for the change any longer. We can help effect this change.
Well, how can I do that?
If you are 18 or over, go to out and vote on or before November 4th. Early voting is going on now, until the 31th of October. Go out and vote again. And, you can also energize people to do the same.
If you are under 18, go out and do your best to energize the “old folks” to go out and let your voice be heard. Convince them to vote. And I hope by the next voting season, you can represent yourself.
Well, back to my song again; not only did he kill the instrumental, but a few lines jumped out at me:
"And when you trust your television
What you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information, oh
They can bend it all they want."
If you still are not sure who to vote for, wherever you get your news from, research your information, and take educated actions. One which should be topmost on your mind now, is: VOTE.
