A Close Look at Sarah Palin

I promised to write a note on Sarah. I’m sorry I got distracted writing other notes. It was for a good cause though. Well, now I decided to devote one whole article to Sarah. It’s an honor for me to write about a governor. There are some things I’m personally confused about with her though.

I thought she was a pretty honest lady. She is pretty, but is she really honest? I’m beginning to doubt it. I think she might be good at winking and hoodwinking folks. She does have a GOOD unique style though. She initially got me. First, I thought she really was innocent. Then, I thought the “Troopergate Probe” was her first ethics violation, and was willing to forgive her – terming it an unfortunate coincidence. But, I’m just finding out that she could possibly be skilled in ethics violation – she’s done it time and time again. Take a look for yourself - http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081014/ap_on_el_pr/palin_state_ethics

On a Rush Limbaugh interview, she said that the media is trying to get her to shut up. Is that so? Maybe if she accepts some more unbiased interview invitations she might get her message out to the American people, not just the republican base.

This is another point that made me say, “Huh”?
First she didn’t know what VPs do. Now (October 22, 2008), she says they PRESIDE over senate. What the …? I thought VPs were to make tie breakers in the US senate decisions, and to be prepared to take over from president if needed (granted, she’s smart, but can she really do that?). I think she was right when she first said she didn’t know what a VP does. I might be wrong.

I think the question is does she know who she is really running with? She doesn’t fully know his record, and neither does he know hers.

Like I’ve always said, she is a pretty smart lady. But, listening to Fox news (and you already know how I feel about Fox), I questioned that. I found that she attended five colleges for one. How many people have the “privilege” of doing that? So…can I hear the argument about Obama’s inexperience? I’m all ears.

And, about her comments on fruit flies, a friend of mine, Fiyin, addressed this issue. On October 22 2008, he said, “Sarah Palin just said she was going to cut funding for scientific research like 'fruit fly research'- drosophila to help children with autism. Ok. But wait a minute...the synaptic cell surface protein that is defective in children with autism- neurexins - are being researched on in...Fruit flies. So, how is autism research going to work without drosophila research”? Hello!!!! He continued by saying, “…tell her not to piss us scientists off. [That is] another one of those narrow-minded ideologies she holds...” I don’t have anything else to add.

Finally, I know she has to be the attack-dog for the campaign. But, “darn”!! I know she thinks lots of folks may not try to verify her comments. But, Hello!!! There are camera’s everywhere now. Matthew 7:3 says, “And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.”

I guess John should have had better judgment - done a better vetting.

PS. I could go on-and-on on Sarah. But, I’ll stop here. I don’t hate her. I’m just in trying to present the facts to those who care to be open-minded enough to accept it.
